External expectations Doesn't Enter My Head, Affirms Bullish Postecoglou
Forest manager Ange Postecoglou insists that any pressure regarding his position will not influence his methodology.
The club remains without a victory in his first six games since the Australian took over from Nuno Espirito Santo at the City Ground.
A group of Forest fans shouted, "you're getting sacked in the morning", at the ex- Tottenham and Celtic manager following the recent 3-2 European defeat at their ground to Midtjylland.
The Manager's Response to Pressure
Postecoglou, however, mentioned that the Europa League title he won at Tottenham last season, prior to being sacked in the summer, was evidence he does not allow pressure to affect his management.
"I don't think about it," he added. "My duty involves ensuring this team progresses and gets to a position where it can compete for things," stated Postecoglou.
"If I start setting deadlines to that or stress over what is going to happen next week then I am not fulfilling the role I have been given.
"I just don't think it is helpful to anybody. Ultimately, I have to concentrate on the atmosphere, the practice sessions, the way we play, and as I said recently, I am still extremely confident in my conviction that we are not too far away.
"To explain - I was aware I was getting sacked at Tottenham approximately three or four months prior to I did, but that didn't stop me from securing a trophy."
Career Background
The 60-year-old joined Spurs from Celtic in 2023 and supporters initially embraced the coach for his attacking style of play, with the London club ending up 5th in the Premier League during his debut campaign.

Amid the poor run of results, there is no denying it has been a challenging beginning for Postecoglou.
And the statistics demonstrate just how disappointing Forest have performed since his arrival.
Performance Analysis
- In Postecoglou's half-dozen games, they have lost on four occasions across three different competitions
- No top-flight team has lost as numerous games as Forest since his hiring
- They have conceded 13 goals - at a rate of over two per game
- Only Manchester United and Burnley have a worse defensive per game record than Forest since Postecoglou's arrival

Fan Viewpoint
This season should have been one of Nottingham Forest's best in recent times. Qualification for Europe for the initial occasion in 30 years, the best squad this millennium and all involved pulling in the common goal.
Unexpectedly, at least for now, that has all gone out of the window. Nuno has departed, performances have been poor and on the recent evening the stadium criticized the recent appointment Ange Postecoglou after just six games.
However it's very much classic Forest, a club that veers from achievement to self-made disaster like a novice motorist who fails to remain in a lane.
Future Fixtures
With games against Newcastle, Chelsea, Porto, Bournemouth and Manchester United coming up, it's very hard to say if he can reverse the situation before it becomes even more negative.
But question any fan and they'll inform you the identical thing, it's never dull at Nottingham Forest.
